Sangiovese Rides
Mountain Biking between Romagna and Marche in Italy. Five days of guided mountain biking and wine tasting in collaboration with the Bike Hotel Marinella. Discover and enjoy the local Sangiovese wines and produce and forget what you already know about Italian Food and Wine. Explore beautiful small medieval villages. Enjoy fabulous trails in the San Bartolo Natural Reserve, in the Conca Valley and in the Apennine Mountains (Carpegna).
After every ride we relax and enjoy the sea and the beaches of the Italian riviera unless we go wine tasting.
Rides Plan Example
Day 1 – Gabicce Mare, Gradara, Fiorenzuola di Focara, Santa Marina, Pesaro. (25-40km – 700m+ elevation).
Day 2 – Monte Carpegna or Urbino and Fossombrone including part of the Cesane Bike Park rides. (40-50km – 800m+ elevation).
Day 3 – Misano, Torrente Conca, Montefiore and Back (50km – 900m+ elevation)
Day 4 – Gabicce Mare, Castel di Mezzo, Gabicce Monte, (30km – 500m+ elevation)
Logistic and Transport
Get to the Bologna Airport by Wednesday evening and leave Monday evening (unless you want to relax there few more days or you have less time). We will then ride at least four day with one rest day for wine tasting and exploring the local area (if you prefer to ride no problem).
Sangiovese Rides Prices
Prices start from £660 per person for 5 nights (Wednesday to Monday).
Prices includes almost everything but the flights to/from Bologna and the bikes that are available for hiring upon request.
