How We Ride

Every ride is social first, performance second. We wait at junctions. We regroup on climbs. We stop for photos, for chats, for the view. The goal isn’t to smash a segment—it’s to share an experience.

That doesn’t mean we don’t push ourselves. Some rides are technical. Some are long. Some involve proper climbing and descending that’ll test your bike handling. But no one gets left behind, and no one feels like they’re holding the group back.

What to Expect

• Pace: Conversational. If we can’t chat, we’re going too hard.
• Duration: 2-4 hours depending on the ride. Always communicated in advance.
• Terrain: Mix of singletrack, bridleways, and occasional road links. Varies by location.
• Ability: All levels welcome. Let us know if it’s your first time and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable.
• Post-ride: Usually a pub stop or coffee. Half the relationship-building happens after the ride.

Where We Ride

Surrey Hills

Technical trails, chalky climbs, and some of the best singletrack in the South East. We visit regularly for destination Saturdays. Carpool from Winchester or meet there.

Queen Elizabeth Country Park

Our local anchor. Flow trails, pump track, and proper enduro descents. Family-friendly options too. 20 minutes from Winchester—the go-to for weekday sessions and Sunday rides.

Winchester Local

Training loops, skills sessions, and quick after-work spins. Starting from the Lainston House area or St Catherine’s Hill. Perfect for Friday morning sessions.

Valtellina (Alps)

The Alpine base for community adventures. Over 50 rides to choose from. Proper mountain terrain with views that make every climb worthwhile. Occasional community trips for those ready to explore further.

What to Bring

• Mountain bike in good working order (hardtail or full suspension)
• Helmet (mandatory)
• Water and snacks
• Spare tube, pump, and basic tools
• Layers appropriate for conditions
