What to Bring

A Fab Ride can easily be compromised by a rider with a poor maintained mountain bike or with inappropriate MTB Kit. Please check your mountain bike before every ride and keep your bike in good working conditions.

Here a list of what we suggest you bring with you (please also watch this video).

MTB Adventures Stuff to carry

Clothing

Riders MUST wear the following items of clothing to ensure basic level of safety are achieved

  • Full-fingered gloves or fingerless gloves
  • Full-lenght trousers or shorts and long-sleeved top (depending on the weather conditions and the vegetation)
  • Flat-soled shoes or trainers – NOT a shoe with a heel
  • Helmet
  • Eyewear

Clothing needs to allow a full range of movement without being too loose and provide some protection in the event of a fall.

If you use clip-in pedals (e.g.SPDs), a cycling-specific shoe is also required, so that the pedal cleats can be attached to the shoe.
